Update on Drew McIntyre’s Push, Ric Flair Meets Pete Rose

The Wrestling Observer is reporting that Drew McIntyre’s recent WWE push is mainly due to the backing of both Triple H and Shawn Michaels. Both veteran wrestlers are reportedly big fans of McIntyre, and feel that he has main event potential in the future if he continues to progress and elevate his game. It’s being said that many backstage in WWE are liking McIntyre to an early version of Triple H in that he has a similar look and similar abilites that HHH had when he was beginning his WWE career. McIntyre’s push, however, is causing frustration with some of the more experienced talents backstage that have been with the company for 5-6 years as they were told they’d be receiving similar pushes if they elevated their games which most of them feel they have. It’s often said that if you do not get the approval or backing of guys like Michaels, Triple H, Cena or Orton then you can never really ascend past a certain point in WWE.

The Heyman Hustle is exclusively reporting that WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair recently met legendary baseball manager Pete Rose. The Hustle has posted an exclusive photo of the meeting which you can see of you CLICK HERE. Additionally, the following is an excerpt from the article concerning the first time meeting of the two legends:

"Two WWE Hall of Famers (how weird is that?) met each other for a brief moment at the Big Apple Comic Con over the weekend, and THE HEYMAN HUSTLE got the world exclusive. "Charley Hustle" himself, Pete Rose was signing autographs when "Nature Boy" Ric Flair was getting ready to leave the convention (after a full day of pictures and autographs). "
