Bobby Lashley vs. Fedor?, Error On Tribute To The Troops Show

Jacob Bluhm sent along the following: While I was watching the WWE Tribute To The Troops special, Jerry Lawler mentioned that the WWE title match between Chris Jericho and John Cena was the first time they fought one-on-one in a WWE title match. That is not true. When Eric Bischoff was General Manager of RAW, he granted Jericho a "your fired WWE title match" and Jericho ended up losing and was "fired" from WWE. Just thought I’d point that out.

CORRECTION: Several readers sent in word that Lawler said it was the first time the title was defended on a Tribute To The Troops special.

John Sparkly sent along the following: Bobby Lashley was at the Strikeforce show on Showtime last night. He was interviewed because he’s part of the company now. He was even asked about if he wanted to fight the universally ranked best Heavyweight in the world – Fedor Emelianenko. Something tells me that’s a fight he should avoid for a while!
