A Note on Sheamus’ WWE Title Belt, WWE Investor Pulls Out

Nick Paglino

Several WZ readers have sent in word that Sheamus’ WWE Title Belt did NOT have his name engraved on it when he entered for his match on Raw last night. Generally, the title has the winner’s name engraved on it within a day of the wrestler winning the belt. This was either an oversight on WWE’s part, or a possible indication that Sheamus will not retain the title next week.

The Figure Four Weekly Newsletter is reporting that longtime WWE investor and Board of Director member since 2001, Michael Solomon, recently cashed in all of his WWE stock and walked away with $20 million. Solomon was reportedly unhappy with the way some aspects of WWE have been run lately, and with WWE stock being priced fairly high right now, he decided that it was a good time to get out of the company.
