WWE Raw Results – December 28th, 2009

We’re back and Timbaland is in the back with the Bella Twins and Gail Kim.  They’re listening to music and Josh Matthews comes in and asks him what the status is between the Cena/Sheamus match and whether he’s going to postpone the match.  Timbaland asks why he would postpone the biggest match of the century?  He turns to the camera asks the people if they want to see the match.  We see the fans going crazy for the match and Timbaland says "there it is".  So, apparently, the match is still on.

We then cut to Legacy in the back with the new Marine dvd.  They run into Orton and they ask him what’s wrong.  He says he thinks it’s time to break up Legacy.  He’s finally realized that he’s wasted the last year and a half.  Rhodes says that he can’t be serious.  He says that he doesn’t associate himself with failures and that’s what they are because he’s not the WWE Champion and they aren’t the Tag Team  Champions.  DiBiase asks if he remembers all the time they’ve bailed him out.  He says that each of them will have a match tonight and if they don’t win, not only will they be kicked out of Legacy, he will beat the living hell out of both of them.

We then cut to Jericho still outside petitioning, but there isn’t anyone else around.  Orton’s music hits and he comes out.  He’s going to watch the two Legacy matches next.

Ted DiBiase vs Evan Bourne

They lock up and DiBiase takes early control, but Bourne fights back with a low dropkick.  He goes off the ropes, but DiBiase follows him off the ropes and nails a clothesline.  He then holds Bourne up for a delay suplex.  Cover, but only two.  DiBiase continues his attack with some elbow drops and then applies a headlock. Bourne fights out with some kicks, charges DiBiase in the corner, but gets kicked in the head.  He quickly fires back with a standing hurricanrana.  Bourne tries to go to the top for Air Bourne, but DiBiase gets up quickly and cuts him off.  DiBiase hits his finisher and gets the pin.

WINNER: Ted DiBiase

Rhodes will be facing Mark Henry next as Randy Orton sits at ringside looking on.
