A Very Detailed Live Smackdown Report From Last Night

Dreamer had a pretty damn good match with Zack Ryder to finish out his career, though the ending was a bit week.  After the match, Tommy gave a pretty emotional promo.  What I didn’t realize at this point was that we had been sitting just a few feet from his family and immediatly recognized Beulah.  She seemed to be legitemently crying at the emotion of the moment.  Dreamer with his daughters at the top of the set was a nice last shot of him before going out.  Here’s to wishing him much more success wherever he ends up, which might be TNA from what I hear.

Quick change of the apron and we are off with two quick Superstars matches.  No opening pyro or intro for this one.  Shelton come out with his massivly loud pyro to a mum reaction.  Still better then the 0 reaction that Vance Archer recieved.  The match was more filler then anything else, and the crowd could of cared less about the DQ ending.

Cryme Tyme came out to a nice reaction.  On a side note, JTG has way to much energy for that team to be lost in the shuffle.  He is actually pretty damn entertaining to watch in the ring.  They really should do something with that team or break them up and let JTG shine on his own.  Good to see Charlie Haas everyonce in a while.  Someone in the front made a wise crack about TNA and his wife which he seemed to get a kick out of.  Match was good for what it was, with JTG the highlight.

About a 10 minute break followed while they changed the apron and the ring ropes.  Killed time by showing a number of videos and promos.  I must have seen the trailer for the Marine 2 about 6 times last night.  And each time, it still looked terrible.
