Report: Vince Russo’s Current Status With TNA Wrestling

ProWrestling.net is reporting that according to a source within TNA, Vince Russo’s job on the creative team is by no means in jeopardy. While it is true that Eric Bischoff is involved in the creative process, and according to a source within TNA that I’ve spoken to, he is also handling most of the negotiations with new talent, Vince Russo is also playing a major role in the creative decisions being made within the company.

Additionally, it’s being said that Dixie Carter has been wary of new talent that has come into the company, and has trust issues with several newcomers including Hogan and Bischoff. Therefore, she is in no hurry to hand over control of the company to these kinds of people, and is keeping people like Vince Russo around because Russo has always been good about including Carter in the creative process.

So, it seems that at this time there are absolutely no plans to remove Russo from the creative team. He is trusted and liked by Dixie Carter, who feels that he is committed to the company.

Nick was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, and lived there until the age of 18, when he decided to pack his flack jacket and move to New York City.

Nick attended New York University and graduated in 2001 with a degree in Drama.

Nick first entered the internet wrestling community back in 2004 when he became the co-host of The Voice of Wrestling Radio Show. From there, Nick made the transition from radio personality to editor when he began working with WrestleZone in 2008.

Nick is a member of two Off-Broadway theatre companies, Another Urban Riff, and the Drama Desk Award winning Godlight Theatre Company. Nick has appeared in over a dozen Off-Broadway plays since he moved to New York City, and has shot several short and feature length films. In 2010, he completed principle photography on a film titled "How to Score Your Life," which also features TNA Knockout ODB.

Inspiration in his life has come from many people including his family, Woody Allen, Steven Spielberg, Jack Nicholson, The Beatles, and of course, Lassie.
