Jerry "The King" Lawler will headline a HUGE card this Friday night, January 15th in Nashville at the New Life Community Center, 413 Veritas St. (the same building NWA: Main Event does their tapings). It is a benefit show for Promoter Bert Prentice and all tickets are a $10 donation.
The show starts at 8pm also featured are Matt Boyce, Steve O, Shane Williams, Tommy Mercer, Big Bully Douglas and more are being added daily. Lawler’s opponent will be announced tommorrow. Tickets will be on sale at the NWA taping this Thursday night at the New Life Community Center or at the door. Also featured will be a ladies match featuring Su Young vs. Destiny.
Alot of the old Music City Wrestling fans will be delighted to know that Jerry Lawler’s opponent for the Friday night Bert Prentice Benefit will be non other than Frenchy Riviera!
In fact alot of the stars from that time are coming back for this special evening including Shane Eden and Bully Douglas. The show is at 8pm this Friday night Jan. 15th at the New Life Community Center just off Nolensville Rd. at 413 Veritas Street. A ladies match featuring Su Young, plus Matt Boyce, Steve O, Travis Sawyer, Shane Williams and Tommy Mercer. A donation of $10 will get you a ticket, over 100 have been sold so far. They will also be giving away 2 WWE Monday Night Raw tickets at the show. Some more surprise guests are expected to be announced soon, I was told Chris Harris is in town this week, so it would be nice to see him there. He was not on the list I seen though, but I would expect him to stop by. The show is being sponsored by Bart Durham Law Office, Kroger, Mufflers, Brakes & More, Nick and Bubba’s and Free At Last Bonding.
