New Chris Jericho Interview, WWE/New Zealand, WWE Music

Bradley Grover sent along the following: On Friday, January 29, 2010, Food Network debuted an episode of The Best Thing I Ever Ate titled "Meat-Fest".  Jeff Hardy’s last WWE theme was played in the start of the first segment featuring Chef Aaron Sanchez.

Saul from Auckland, New Zealand sent along the following: Thought I’d pass it on that Smackdown and ECW will be coming to Auckland on August 5, 2010, as per wwe.com/worldwide.

Mike from New Jersey sent along the following: 1/28/10: Chris Jericho and Rich Ward of Fozzy live in studio 3 hrs ago on Friday night 1/30 at 11pm on Q104.3! Part of the reason they were there was to promote their new CD which is out now, Chasing the Grail. It is Fozzy’s 4th record. I only listened to the last half hour that Jericho was on but during that time he talked about classic metal and hard rock bands like Iron Maiden and Judas Priest to name a few. He really loves The Scorpions and puts them in the same level with Priest and Maiden. He also talked about a time in 1989 where bands like Motley Crue and Bon Jovi were both arguing to end a certain show. Ozzy then tells them both that he’s going first. He pours one bucket of water on the crowd, then another, then asks "Are you f***ing ready to rock!" Jericho then thinks that both Bon Jovi and Motley Crue were both regretting the decision of letting Ozzy go first. He also thinks that no one could have stopped Ozzy and Zakk Wylde at the time. There were no phone calls being taken in the last half hour which was kind of upsetting, as it would have been funny to hear his remarks on the incident that happened with Helms, Punk, and Christian. Also, during the last half hour they were talking about a show going into the 4th season on VH1 classics, most likely That Metal Show being that Jericho joined Eddie Trunk and the crew in Season 3 Ep. 3. Eddie Trunk was the host of tonight’s Friday Night Rock radio show. Jericho had a lot of fun on the show but he had to go spin tonight. Yes, spin. He said the most spinning he has done was spinning in circles and also a spinning class (exercise bike). He knows so much about rock music, the history, everything.

Again, Chris Jericho was really interesting in the short time I listened to him. You could tell he was having a good time. I would definitely check it out if you’re a metal or hard rock fan or just a Jericho fan even.
