Get ready to turn up the volume Mayhem Nation, as Fozzy’s lead guitarist "The Duke" Rich Ward joined The Monday Night Mayhem Radio Network to discuss Fozzy & their new album "Chasing The Grail." The first single off the record, "Martyr No More," was the official theme song for the 2010 Royal Rumble PPV, and the band has just announced that it will be performing LIVE in Tempe, AZ during WrestleMania XXVI weekend. Rich was asked about the success our the new album. "It’s amazing. When we get together to do Fozzy, it’s always like some type of fraternity that Chris (Jericho) & I have. He has his day job, and I obviously have Stuck Mojo for the last 20 years of my life, and it’s been my bread & butter band. So it’s always exciting because we don’t come together with any expectations, we just come together with this pure love of music, metal; we want to make great records and put on the best shows money can buy. And Chris is the personification of what a great rock ‘n’ roll frontman is, and it gives you confidence as a guitarist & songwriter that when I go out there, that the man manning the ship is the original ‘Captain Ahab.’ So it’s a privilege & an honor to be in a band with him."

WWE superstar & the lead singer for Fozzy, Chris Jericho, has been in the headlines throughout the past several weeks after his & Gregory "Hurricane" Helms’ arrests after a recent SmackDown/ECW television taping in Cincinnati for public intoxication. Jericho & TMZ have been going back & forth at each other online since that point, and many of Chris’ long-time fans & even some of his harshest critics over the years feel that he has been put through the ringer as a result of this. Rich was asked about Jericho, who he believes Chris is as a person, & if the media has portrayed him in a negative light since this incident. "To be honest, I don’t read a lot of about Chris on the Internet & the media, so I don’t know what the word is on the street about Chris. All I can tell you is that he’s one of my best friends in the world; he’s a honest guy, a good dad, and he’s just one of the boys. That’s why he’s got so many friends in the rock business, because there a lot of wrestlers I have met & people in Hollywood who try to use their fame to work their way into certain cliques, and they’re not always welcome because they are kind of douchebags. That’s why Chris is friends with all these really cool people because he is a fun guy. It’s always like living for the moment. But also Vince (McMahon) requires a lot of guys to stay in character, and this is even outside. So when Chris is going through the airport, it’s ‘the code of the road.’ He’s not allowed to sign autographs, and he’s not allowed to drop character. When he’s on his time, it’s different, but when he is on WWE time, he is Chris Jericho the WWE Superstar."
