Vince Confirms WZ Report, Comments on TNA’s Product

A few months ago, in a report which can be found at THIS LINK, WZ exclusive reported that Vince McMahon was still looking for something major to book for WrestleMania 26, and he was hoping for something along the lines of John Cena vs The Rock.

In a new interview with Acorn-Online.com Vince had the following to say concerning the yearly WrestleMania event and its potential in the future: "It has grown into everything I ever wanted it to be, but we’re still not there yet. There’s more that can be done, but it’s grown every year into something that people can’t miss."

McMahon also had the following to say concerning TNA’s current product: "We’re in different businesses. We’re in the entertainment business and they’re in the ‘pro wrasslin’ business. It’s different markets. When they moved to Monday nights they threw the kitchen sink at us and only did a fraction of our audience. It doesn’t speak well for the type of product they’re trying to present with the tawdry, blood-soaked action. I don’t think that’s what the culture wants these days."

Nick was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, and lived there until the age of 18, when he decided to pack his flack jacket and move to New York City.

Nick attended New York University and graduated in 2001 with a degree in Drama.

Nick first entered the internet wrestling community back in 2004 when he became the co-host of The Voice of Wrestling Radio Show. From there, Nick made the transition from radio personality to editor when he began working with WrestleZone in 2008.

Nick is a member of two Off-Broadway theatre companies, Another Urban Riff, and the Drama Desk Award winning Godlight Theatre Company. Nick has appeared in over a dozen Off-Broadway plays since he moved to New York City, and has shot several short and feature length films. In 2010, he completed principle photography on a film titled "How to Score Your Life," which also features TNA Knockout ODB.

Inspiration in his life has come from many people including his family, Woody Allen, Steven Spielberg, Jack Nicholson, The Beatles, and of course, Lassie.
