Live Raw Fan Report: Off-Air Notes, Reaction to Guest Hosts

The crowd was into the show well enough, but there was definitely a Wrestlemania hangover.

Not sure what the deal was, but there were technical issues at the US Airways Center abound tonight. The most obvious being Batista’s spotlight issues. Also a couple times during the show the TitanTron went black at least 3 times in the first hour. And there were some issues with the smaller scoreboards/screens around the arena going to a blue screen a few times.

During the commercial break after Swagger’s entrance, Jack talked about winning Money in the Bank. He then queued the video from last night, but when they showed it, the clip was edited so it only took him about 3 seconds to get the briefcase off the hook instead of the 30-40 it actually took. Thought that was funny. Wonder if they’ll edit the dvd version that way.

The guest host segments BOMBED with the live crowd. Hard.

Great show to be at though. Honored to witness Shawn Michaels farewell speech.

Well, that’s about it from the 3/29/2010 edition of Raw from US Airways Center in Phoenix, Arizona.

Nick was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, and lived there until the age of 18, when he decided to pack his flack jacket and move to New York City.

Nick attended New York University and graduated in 2001 with a degree in Drama.

Nick first entered the internet wrestling community back in 2004 when he became the co-host of The Voice of Wrestling Radio Show. From there, Nick made the transition from radio personality to editor when he began working with WrestleZone in 2008.

Nick is a member of two Off-Broadway theatre companies, Another Urban Riff, and the Drama Desk Award winning Godlight Theatre Company. Nick has appeared in over a dozen Off-Broadway plays since he moved to New York City, and has shot several short and feature length films. In 2010, he completed principle photography on a film titled "How to Score Your Life," which also features TNA Knockout ODB.

Inspiration in his life has come from many people including his family, Woody Allen, Steven Spielberg, Jack Nicholson, The Beatles, and of course, Lassie.
