WWE RAW Ladder For This Past Monday: Who Moves?

DOWN A STEP – GUEST HOSTS            

Guest hosts have officially overstayed their welcome. The concept was refreshing and exciting at first. It was set up brilliantly with Mr. Trump, and is a successful marketing ploy for both parties. The mix of Celebrities was there, and you could really tell that the writers were throwing out a lot of fresh ideas every week. The hosts were playing perfectly into the storyline.

The idea has become stale overall, as they are clearly running out of creative ways to get the host involved. I don’t mean involved in that particular show, but the storyline itself. The last straw was Hasselhoff this week. How dare they insult us by having a guest host name a number one contender! For a different show!

What happened to someone earning a title shot? This gives the title even less meaning. First of all, the current champ “won” the title one week after WrestleMania. He jumps from mid card to main event overnight? And now a guest host chooses who is best to contend for the title?

Jericho should be invoking the infamous “rematch clause”. Smackdown’s structure now has no credibility.

Very disappointed.
