A funny vignette was shown on the video monitors of GM Norman Smiley standing in his office with his pants around his ankles as the FCW trainer is checking a knee injury he suffered. The trainer walks away as Aksana walks in asks if he’s ok and offers to massage his knee. She bends down in front of him and starts massaging as Smiley’s assistant, Liviana, walks in to see Smiley with his pants around his ankles with Aksana bent down in front of him. Liviana yells at them and storms off.

Next we have a live Abraham Washington show featuring recent FCW newcomer, Mason Ryan. Abe points out that Ryan & singer Tom Jones are both from Wales, and he asks Ryan to sing “What’s New Pussycat”. This angers Ryan and he pulls the mic from Abe’s hand  and cuts a heel promo stating that he will go through everyone until he is the FCW champion. He forces the mic into Abe’s chest and walks off.

Justin Gabriel pinned Vance Archer

FCW champ Alex Riley cuts a promo teasing that he may be giving Justin Gabriel a rematch, but then announces he will be defending the title against FCW rookie Jacob Novak.

Matt Martlaro interviews Norman Smiley who states that Joe Hennig & Brett DiBiase met him in his office and they agreed to settle their differences by each giving the other whatever kind of match they want against whatever opponent they want. He stated Hennig chose for DiBiase to be in a handicap match against NXT rookies Michael Tarver & David Otunga. DiBiase chose himself against Hennig in a Lumberjack Match.

Alex Riley, Wade Barrett, & Heath Slater defeated Justin Gabriel & The Rotundo Brothers when Barrett pinned Bo Rotundo

Human Cage (Lumberjack) Match – Joe Hennig pinned Brett DiBiase

Dark Match Main Event:
Florida Gators Challenge – Titus O’Neill pinned Trent Baretta (with Caylen Croft)

Notes About The Show:

Jamie Keyes was the ring announcer for the first two tapings. Matt Martlaro took over for the third.

The TV announcers for the first week of tapings were Byron Saxton & Wade Barrett. Abraham Washington joined Saxton for the second and third.

In the opening dark match, Derrick Bateman & Leo Kruger had the look and cohesiveness to possibly become a fulltime tag team. Also in the opener, Conrad Tanner bled hardway from the mouth.

This was the first time the FCW audience has seen Mason Ryan work as a heel, and a monster heel at that, keeping in mind that Ryan bears a strong resemblance in appearance and size to Dave Batista.

The FCW Diva’s Championship belt was revealed the to the audience… It’s similar to the WWE Diva’s title on a slightly smaller scale mounted on a bright pink leather belt. The first three tournament matches were fought over the course of the taping. No word on the status of the “Queen Of FCW” tierra, but AJ Lee did wear it to the ring for her tourney match with Tamina.

The continues to gradually build to a battle of the giants as two seven-foot-plus’ers, Jackson Andrews & Eli Cottonwood drift closer to a big one on one confrontation.

Aksana is now acting as valet for Johnny Curtis. She entered the ring before Curtis, spraying and wiping down the steps, turnbuckles, & ring ropes. She also sprayed down the ref, Goose Mahoney, as well as his opponent, Tito Colon. Curtis wore white gloves into the ring (and wrestled in them)… He also made the ref wear gloves as well. Aksana announced him as “The Luscious One” Johnny Curtis. During the match, Aksana, from ringside, continued to spray a floral smelling air freshener in the air. I personally found this throwback gimmick to be absolutely hilarious.

Orlando Colon had been, in recent weeks, working as Tito Nieves. It appears the middle ground has been met and he is now working as Tito Colon. I would assume this is a result of the planned reunion of Carlito & Primo on Raw.

During the 6 man match on week three, there was friction between Heath Slater and Riley & Barrett. Despite being placed on the “heel” team, Slater was clearly a babyface. In addition, Duke Rotundo bled from his forehead after being rammed into the stairs. At first it appeared he may have bladed, but as the bleeding stopped, the wound looked like it was hardway.

The finish of the Lumberjack Match saw the ref trying to clear a huge brawl on one side of the ring as Drake Brewer attacked DiBiase from the other side leaving him knocked for Hennig to pin.

The Florida Gators Challenge Match references Titus O’Neill, who in reality is former Gators defensive end Thaddeus Bullard.

Roster talent noticeably absent from the show included Alberto Banderas, Naomi Night, & Tyler Reks. Also Kaval & Richie Steamboat are out injured as is Cable Jones, who was assisting with the production crew.

Despite their removal from WWE.com Abraham Washington, Byron Saxton, & Curt Hawkins were all a big part of the evening.

This week, Rosa Mendes & referee Goose Mahoney were both removed from FCWwrestling.com and are both very active with the main roster. New to FCW, Rhys Ali (WXW’s Reon Mahima) & Devin Allen were both added to the roster.
