WWE Fan Arrested For Threats Over Mickie James’ Firing

A 22-year-old fan from Brooklyn, New York has been arrested for serious threats against the WWE and its employees.  CTPost.com reports that Zavr Pegumbari was arrested Friday for calling WWE headquarters over 20 times last week, harrassing employees and threatening to blow up the company’s offices.

Why?  Simply due to the release of former women’s champion, Mickie James.

Peygumbari is accused of also saying he would visit the building with a machete and a machine gun. His attorney described him as a "fervent wrestling fan who did not intend to follow through on his threats".

He was charged with four counts of fourth-degree threatening, one count of second-degree harassment and two counts of second-degree threatening.

Peygumbari’s bond was initially set for $250,000, but was reduced to $5,000 due to him signing a written contract stating he would show back up for court.  However, he is not allowed to go to any WWE events, contact their employees, or go near the Stamford offices.  His court date is set for May 25.
