Dragon Gate USA Weekly Update & PPV Quick Preview

Nick Paglino

Here is your DGUSA.tv Weekly Update with all the latest happenings from Dragon Gate USA. Go towards the end for a preview of this Friday’s PPV:

-DGUSA "Mercury Rising" premieres on pay-per-view THIS FRIDAY on iN DEMAND, TVN, Bell and Viewer’s Choice. Dave Meltzer reviewed a screener in this week’s Observer and gave the main event an incredible ****3/4. Here’s what Meltzer had to say about this must see match: "…right up there with Michaels vs. Undertaker and will likely be one of the two best bouts of the year on U.S. PPV. So I’d go ****3/4, and really a must see when it comes to match of the year, if only because it’s totally unlike any other top match that will likely air on a U.S. PPV show this year."
-We have a look at Friday’s PPV lineup below, but click this link for a 2 minute video showing some incredible highlights from the main event Meltzer mentions above: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ey0vcwjIb1w
-If you have iN DEMAND and can’t catch "Mercury Rising" this Friday night, there is a replay at 1pm on Sunday.
-We want to thank the fans of Windsor and Toronto for great events last weekend. DGUSA is working on a return to Toronto now.
-Masaaki Mochizuki was announced for the 7/24 event in Philadelphia. This is Mochizuki’s debut in Philly.
-The new DGUSA.tv Weekly Special is here. Orders $25 or over in the United States and $50 or over International get FREE SHIPPING until May 19th. This includes anything in the www.DGUSA.tv Store. -Go to the www.DGUSA.tv Feature Articles section to read "Getting Personal With CIMA." This takes a look at the man behind the wrestler.
-Jon Moxley suffered a gruesome injury when he almost had his nipple ripped off by the guardrail after Jimmy Jacobs hit him with a tope. We have a graphic picture in the www.DGUSA.tv News Alerts section. Be warned, it is nasty. Moxley will be ok, but the injury was very painful.
-The Seminar/Tryout in Toronto was extremely successful. Masato Yoshino, Naruki Doi and BxB Hulk supplied the instruction and advice while CIMA took notes and added input. The Dragon Gate office selected several talents to be on the Toronto show that night. There are Seminars/Tryouts scheduled for 7/24 in Philly and 9/25 in Chicago. If you have stepped foot in the ring and are interested go to the DGUSA.tv Seminar/Tryouts section.
