Despite our previous report, Layla will become the new Women’s Champion during tonight’s WWE SmackDown! broadcast.
Initially our report listed Michelle McCool as the new champion after pinning Beth Phoenix. Apparently there was some confusion in the arena due to the set up earlier in the night in a promo segment with Vickie Guerrero.
