RAW Results 5/17 – Commercial Free RAW, New US Champion!

Backstage, Maryse is holding a magazine with Trish Stratus on the cover and wants to know why she isn’t on it. She talks some smack about Eve, who is standing behind her with a bottle of baby powder. Eve dumps some on Maaryse and they brawl until referees pull them apart.

Guest Host Buzz Aldrin is in the back talking with a woman about the Olympics and the astronaut stuff behind him. Vickie Guerrero interrupts and Buzz introduces the woman as his wife. Vickie says she is still GM but Buzz says she isn’t because she quit, and her replacement will be here next week. Buzz tries showing off an iPhone application and Vickie doesn’t want to hear it. She says she won’t leave her job but Buzz has the Bella Twins escort her out of his office.

Mark Henry vs Batista

Batista runs out and smashes a 2×4 on Henry’s injured shoulder. He sends him shoulder first into the ring steps and steps onto Henry to get in the ring. Batista screams for his spotlight and poses to the boos of the crowd.

Result – No Contest

Another "segment" here with Ted DiBiase, this one is a parody of Mastercard. It goes over all of the expensive things DiBiase can buy, but says R-Truth can’t be bought and self respect is priceless. DiBiase comes out with Virgil who gets a pop from the crowd.

Ted DiBiase (w Virgil) vs Yoshi Tatsu

Yoshi and Ted trade hip tosses and Ted hits a fireman’s carry into a gutbuster. He suplexes Yoshi onto the ropes and gets a two count. Yoshi fights back out of the corner and kicks Ted in the jaw. Yoshi hits some more kicks to the midsection and only gets a two count. Yoshi goes for his finisher but Ted hits Dream Street for the win. After the match he orders Virgil to go get the Million Dollar Belt for him.

Winner – Ted DiBiase

Ted says the person who isn’t afraid to be the new Virgil is the original Virgil. Virgil will be back in Ted’s corner on Sunday. He says he has all the money in the world and if he can’t buy R-Truth, he will just beat him at Over The Limit.
