Due to poor advanced ticket sales, UFC officially announced a change in location and venue for their upcoming UFC On Versus 2 special, scheduled for August 1st.
The card, which was originally planned to emanate from the Energy Solutions Arena in Salt Lake City, Utah, has officially been moved to the San Diego Sports Arena in San Diego, California.
The UFC On Versus 2 special is slated to feature a main event of highly touted light heavyweight prospect Jon "Bones" Jones against former IFL champion "The Janitor" Vladimir Matyushenko. The show also features the second trip to the octagon of Japanese fighting legend Takanori Gomi, as he battles with former Ultimate Fighter reality show winner Joe "Daddy" Stevenson.
