WWE Fatal 4-Way Opener:

The video package airs and we shoot live to the arena. Justin Roberts introduces the WWE Chairman: Vince McMahon. Vince stops at the top of the stage. He apologizes for having to start the PPV off on a somber note. He says Bret Hart will not be here tonight, and here’s why. The video airs of the NXT/limo stuff with Bret Hart on Raw. Vince says he’ll meet with Bret’s people tonight to determine when Bret will recover, etc. He goes to talk off and Drew McIntyre’s music hits. Drew comes out and shakes hands with Vince. Vince talks in his ear, off-mic and Drew continues his way to the ring. Video airs highlighting his history with Teddy Long and Kofi Kingston. We return to the arena and we see a shot of Vince getting in his limo and leaving. Back in the arena, Drew tells the crowd that Vince just told him that Teddy Long has to come out here right now. Out comes Teddy. He tells him to sit at ringside and when he wins back his I-C title, he’s gonna have to give it to him. Out comes Kofi Kingston.

Intercontinental Title:

-Kofi Kingston (c) vs. Drew McIntyre

The bell sounds and Kingston immediately goes to work on Drew in the corner with a variety of kicks. We see Teddy at ringside looking on with a sad look on his face. Drew is fighting back now, gaining the upper hand in the offense of the match. The crowd is cheering on Kingston to fight back. Kingston knocks Drew out to the floor. Kingston runs and dives through the ropes to hit him on the floor. Kingston gets back in the ring. He goes out to go after Drew again, but while climbing through the ropes Drew ran and chop blocked his leg from the floor, knocking him down. He rolls Kingston back in the ring and goes to work on him. Drew seeming to focus his attack on the arm of Kingston. Kingston fighting back now. He hits the Boom Drop on Drew. He’s setting up the Trouble In Paradise but Drew avoids it. Drew hits the big boot on Kingston. We get an instant replay of that almost….instantly. Kingston leaps onto the middle rope, jumps off and catches Drew with a tornado DDT. He goes for the pin but Drew gets his foot on the ropes. Drew knocks Kingston into the ref hard, knocking him out for the time being. Drew uses this time to smash Kingston into the ringside post. He hits his finisher on him and covers Kingston, but the ref is still out. He goes to try and wake the ref up. The ref won’t budge. Drew points at Teddy Long. He tears Teddy’g sport coat off and throws him in the ring. He takes the shirt off the ref’s back and makes Teddy put it on. He does and Drew pins Kingston again. Teddy counts 1, Teddy counts 2, on 3 he simply stops his hand and shakes his head no at Drew defiantly. Drew looks pissed. Drew gets in Teddy’s face some before going for his finisher on Kingston again. Out of nowhere, Matt Hardy comes in and hits a Twist Of Fate on Drew. Kingston hits the Trouble In Paradise and Long, still in a ref shirt, counts the pin to give Kingston the victory.

Winner: Kofi Kingston

Backstage: The Hart Dynasty

Backstage we see The Hart Dynasty. They talk about making a name for themselves against the Usos in the ring. They dedicate the match on Father’s Day to Bret Hart.

Fatal 4-Way Match: Divas Title

-Eve Torres (c) vs. Maryse vs. Gail Kim vs. Alicia Fox

The bell sounds and all four girls go at it. Gail and Alicia are fighting in the corner while Maryse and Eve battle in the middle of the ring. We get a series of nearfalls with every pin attempt being broken up by another Diva. Gail has a submission on Alicia while Eve has one on Maryse. Gail eventually lets go of her hold and breaks up the other girls. Eve and Gail apply a double-submission on Alicia. Maryse grabs them by the ears and throws them both down. She throws them both out of the ring. Alicia and Maryse go face-to-face. Maryse puts her finger in Alicia’s face. Alicia pushes her. They go at it. Eve is back in now and adds herself to the mix. Gail Kim with a double dropkick. Gail comes off the top rope with a double dropkick on Maryse. Eve hits a big dropkick on Maryse. Eve comes off the top rope with a moonsault. Alicia throws her to the floor, steals the pinfall and pins her for the victory.

Winner and NEW Divas champion: Alicia Fox

Backstage: Big Show & Rey Mysterio

Backstage Big Show walks up to Mystero. Mysterio tells Big Show he’s going to win tonight. Big Show puts his hand on Rey like a child and bends way down to get face-to-face with him. He tells him calmly that he is going to be the next World title. He shows him his fist and says he won’t hesitate. Mysterio tells him as big as his fist is, Rey’s heart is bigger. He walks off.

In-Ring: Chris Jericho

Chris Jericho makes his way to the ring. He has a mic and tells everyone under the age of 25 realizes that he is the reason why they watch WWE. He says anyone over that age is the reason why they still watch WWE today. He says but now he has a problem — it seems that he is no longer the hot topic in WWE. He says even his NXT Rookie is making more noise than he is. He says deservedly so because he’s making an impact. Jericho mentions some of his bigger moments. He talks about being the most important member of the WWE roster. He says Evan Bourne is one of many who wants his spot. He talks about what happend with Bourne on Raw and says he challenged him to a match tonight.

Chris Jericho vs. Evan Bourne

The bell sounds and the crowd immediately bursts into a loud Y2J chant. Jericho dominating the action early on. Bourne fighting back now with his quickness and high-risk arsenal. Jericho fighting back now and there’s a loud "let’s go Jericho" chant in the crowd. Eventually Michael Cole says there’s a mixed reaction about Jericho from the crowd tonight. There definitely isn’t, it’s all pro-Jericho. Jericho continues his attack on Bourne. Bourne gets some spots in but one leads to Jericho reversing into the Walls Of Jericho. Bourne slowly fighting his way to the ropes. It takes a while, but he finally makes it there to break the hold. Jericho runs and knocks Bourne to the floor. Jericho smashes Bourne into the announce table. Jericho runs after Bourne on the floor but Bourne drop toeholds him face-first into the ringside steps. Bourne gets Jericho back in the ring and continues his attack. Bourne goes for the Air Bourne but misses, Jericho counters into a Codebreaker. Jericho pins him but Bourne gets his foot on the ropes to break the count. Jericho trying for the Walls Of Jericho but Bourne counters. Both guys are on the top rope and Jericho goes for a superplex. Bourne knocks him off and seems to be setting up Air Bourne again, but Jericho gets up and crotches him on the ropes. Jericho is back up now again going for a superplex. Bourne again knocks him off, this time face-first. Bourne finally hits the Air Bourne onto the back of Jericho. He pins Jericho and picks up the victory.

Winner: Evan Bourne

Fatal 4-Way Match: World Title

-Big Show vs. Rey Mysterio vs. Jack Swagger vs. CM Punk

Big Show makes his way to the ring. CM Punk comes out with the Straight Edge Society. He sends them to the back and makes his way to the ring. Out comes Rey Mysterio to a big reaction. And finally, World champion Jack Swagger comes out. Our World title Fatal 4-Way match is underway. The bell sounds and within a few seconds Big Show has everyone down and selling in a different corner of the ring. Each guy tries to go at Big Show one-on-one but he fends them all off. Punk and Mysterio fight to the floor now while Swagger and Show battle in the ring. Mysterio and Big Show get back in the ring and they go face-to-face, well, actually face-to-belly button but Rey isn’t intimidated as he tries going at Big Show anyway. Big Show doesn’t react to any of his moves, he simply shows him his fist and Rey backs off. Punk back in the ring now, as is Swagger. Big Show is taken out on the floor. Punk going to work on Mysterio in the ring. Swagger is battling in the mix now as well. After what seemed like forever, Big Show finally gets back in the ring and he quickly clears house, knocking all guys to the floor. Punk hits the GTS on Swagger in the ring. He’s slow to make the cover. Kane’s music hits and the arena turns red. Kane comes out with a casket and wheels it down to ringside. He opens the casket and gets in the ring. He walks by each guy. He picks CM Punk and throws him to the floor. He grabs him by the throat and chokeslams him in the casket. He goes to close the casket but the SES comes out to stop him. Kane chases them to the back. Back in the ring Rey hits the 619 on Swagger. He follows up with the splash and pins Swagger to win.

Winner and NEW World champion: Rey Mysterio

-A commercial airs for the upcoming Money In The Bank PPV.

Backstage: Josh Matthews Interviews John Cena

Backstage, Josh Matthews interviews John Cena. Cena talks about the WWE title Fatal 4-Way match. For this particular promo, we get the serious, story-telling John Cena. You get the picture.

United States Title:

-The Miz (c) vs. R-Truth

The Miz comes out telling everyone how great he is on-mic as he walks to the ring. R-Truth comes out rapping like a baffoon as he walks to the ring. Our U.S. title match is now officially underway. Both guys lock up and R-Truth gets the upper hand early. The Miz gets in a cheap shot and throws R-Truth on the floor. This gives him time to recover in the ring. R-Truth almost gets counted out, but rolls in and goes under the ropes. Miz tries to continue his assault but the ref breaks it up due to R-Truth being in the ropes. R-Truth selling his leg big. The Miz in firm control of R-Truth now. He throws on a submission hold and R-Truth is stuck in it for quite a while. R-Truth seems to be finally making his comeback but Miz cuts it very short and slaps an arm hold on R-Truth. R-Truth finally breaks free and makes his comeback on Miz. R-Truth goes for a pin but Miz kicks out. Miz gets his legs tied up in the ropes. R-Truth hits a big scissors kick as Miz’s body was draped off the ropes. Miz and R-Truth are on the top rope now. R-Truth knocks Miz off. He goes for a cross body splash but Miz moves. R-Truth with a couple nearfall attempts but no dice. The crowd was buying into them though. Miz rolls R-Truth up out of nowhere and gets the three count.

Winner: The Miz



The Hart Dynasty vs. The Usos

The lady Uso and Hart Dynasty chick start things off. They both tag out within seconds. David Hart Smith goes to work on Uso. Uso tags in his brother and they do some double-team attack to DH Smith in the corner. He finally makes the tag to Tyson Kidd. Kidd works over Uso some before they double team attack him as well. Uso throws Kidd to the floor. He goes to dive through the ropes but Kidd jumps from the floor to kick him in the head as he was coming through. Kidd fights off another double team attack from the Usos. Uso gets the upper hand over Kidd now. Kidd taking a beating. Each Uso is going to work on him briefly and tagging in the other to keep the fresh man in. Another double team attack from both Usos. Uso goes for a big splash on Kidd in the corner but Kidd moves. Kidd crawling for the tag. He finally gets it and tags in Natalya. She and the Uso chick go at it now, with Natalya getting the upper hand. The Usos are double-team attacking DH Smith on the floor. Kidd comes flying off the top to knock both guys out. Back in the ring the Uso chick has Natalya laid out and climbs to the top rope. Shes misses a big splash. Natalya hits a big clothesline and pins her for the victory.

Winners: The Hart Dynasty

Fatal 4-Way Match: WWE Title

-John Cena (c) vs. Randy Orton vs. Sheamus vs. Edge

The long, drawn-out introductions are complete and now our WWE title match is officially underway. Everyone is battling. Sheamus and Edge are thrown to the floor. Cena and Orton turn around to see they’re the only two in the ring. A long staredown happens as they slowly approach each other. Orton goes for a punch, misses and Cena hoists him up for an Attitude Adjustment. Orton escapes and tries an RKO but Cena avoids that. Sheamus and Edge filter back in and they double team Cena while Orton sells on the floor. Sheamus and Edge break the truce and now they’re going at it. Edge spears him and goes for a pin but Cena breaks it up. Edge throws Cena to the floor. He goes to the top rope but Orton crotches him. Orton goes for a superplex on Edge in the corner. Edge blocks it. Sheamus climbs up and they’re all 3 on the top rope. Each guy knocks the other down. Orton clotheslines both guys to the floor. Cena is making his way back into the ring now, selling big. Orton stops him half way and suplexes him in the ring. Orton does the Ronnie Garvin stomp spot on Cena now, doing his best facial acting between kicks. Orton misses a kick and hurts his leg. Sheamus enters back into the picture and clotheslines Orton. Cena is making his comeback now on Sheamus as the crowd rallies behind him. Cena with a big slam on Sheamus. Cena picks Sheamus up for the Attitude Adustment but Sheamus escapes and hits his finisher on Cena. He’s slow to make a pin and Cena kicks out at two. Orton hits a double draped DDT across the middle ropes on Sheamus and Cena. Crowd dug that. Orton tries pinning Sheamus but Sheamus gets his foot on the ropes. Orton turns around and Edge blasts him with a big boot. Edge is setting up a spear now as he waits for Cena to get back up. Edge goes for the spear but Cena moves. Cena firing up on Edge now. Cena hits the 5-Knuckle Shuffle. Orton blasts Cena down and out and goes to work on Edge. Sheamus throws Orton to the floor and works on Edge some. Cena is back in now and Sheamus goes to work on him. Cena throws Sheamus to the floor. Edge spears Orton to the floor. Cena locks in a STF on Edge. Edge is fighting to get to the ropes to break it up but Cena drags him to the center and re-applies the hold. Sheamus breaks it up. Orton hits an RKO on Cena. He goes to pin him but as the ref went to count three, Sheamus pushes the ref out of the ring. Sheamus goes to work on Orton. Backstage some WWE guys are standing around a monitor watching the main event and the NXT gang attacks them all. They seem to be heading to the ring. Cena is in the ring by himself waiting to see they come. They come out the side and attack some stage crew people as they head to the ring. Cena is trying to fight them off but the numbers game gets the better. Edge is getting attacked by them all now. Back in the ring Sheamus pins Cena and the bell sounds.

Winner and NEW WWE champion: Sheamus

After The Match:

There is no announcing during this whole NXT beatdown by the way, as they simply left when they saw the NXT guys coming to the ring. Sheamus ran out as soon as he won, leaving quickly through the crowd. The NXT guys continue the beatdown on Cena in the ring. Sheamus comes back out of the entrance to raise the title and pose and the NXT guys see him and chase up the ramp. They all head to the back. We see Edge and Orton laid out on the floor and Cena laid out in the ring. Dead silence for a long time now. The show ends like that.
