WWE House Show Results (6/27): Worcester, Massachusetts

Report by Joe Gagne & F4WOnline.com

1.  Christian vs. Dolph Ziggler: Dolph stalled for quite a bit before locking up. The usual Christian formula – lots of nearfalls and really the best match on the show.  Christian wins with the Killswitch.

2.  Alberto del Rios vs. JTG: Del Rios got some decent heat with his usual pre-match mic work, including dogging the USA for being eliminated in the World Cup.  Match was OK, Del Rios won with a corner enziguiri.

Tiffany came out to select a guest bell ringer.

3.  Matt Hardy vs. Tyler Reks: No one knew who Reks was, not surprisingly.  Hardy was very over.  Pretty dull match saw Hardy win with the Twist of Fate.

4.  Hart Dynasty vs. Vance Archer and Curt Hawkins: Weird scene as Archer slammed down Tyson Kidd and the ref threw up the dreaded "X."  Trainers came out and the match stopped, but then Kidd just started wrestling again and even hit a pescado on Archer.  Smith with the Sharpshooter on Hawkins.

The SES (Gallows, Serena, and the Mystery Man) attacked the Harts post-match and Gallows made a comment on the mic that they had not scene Punk since Smackdown on Friday.  Kane came out and attacked all the heels (including Hawkins and Archer) and finished off the SES with a double chokeslam.

Intermission

5.  Layla vs. Kelly for the Divas title: I guess Kelly is OK.  Pretty good match seesd Layla win with the Layout.  No McCool or Kaval.  Layla attacks Kelly after the match but Hornswaggle makes the save and lays out Layla with a Stunner.

6.  Kofi Kingston vs. "Dashing" Cody Rhodes for the IC title: Rhodes chastises Tony Chimel for not announcing him as "Dashing."  Kofi wins a good match with the Trouble in Paradise.

7.  Rey vs. Jack Swagger vs. Big Show for the World title: Show dominates to start but gets taken out of the match when Swagger dropkicks the stairs into his kneesand Rey hits a 619 outside the ring.  Show come back but Rey sends him outside with a headscissors and pins Swagger with a slingshot splash for the biggest pop of the night.

Not the most star studded event ever, but everyone worked hard and it was a good show.
