TNA Today (6/30): In-Depth Interview With MCMG

Jimmy Boone sent along the following:

TNA Today, June 30

Wednesday’s TNA Today was on of the longest editions we have had in a while. It included lots of different segments.

JB start off by reading some personal tweets from Dixie, Jeff Hardy, Jay Lethal, and Socal Val.

JB then shows footage of a lengthy interview with the Motor City Machine Guns. This was a really interesting one if you like knowing about wrestler’s personal lives. They touched on bands they listen to, concerts, Detroit, things they do outdoors, Detroit Tigers, tornadoes in Michigan and clothing. They also give a few quick in character thoughts about how their personas are different from Beer Money’s.

Next, they show house show footage from Dayton, Ohio. The clips they show are from Eric Young & Matt Morgan vs Kurt Angle & Mr. Anderson. Highlights include a great fallaway slam from Matt Morgan to Anderson, Angle getting a hot tag and cleaning house, Morgan demolishing Angle with the carbon footprint.

JB hypes TNA’s biggest house show in North America ever, this Friday in New York, New York. (It’s supposed to have roughly 5,000 in attendance)

They end on a funny note (as usual) as they show footage of a small dance party with the wrestlers at a hotel after a house show. Dancers include Hardy, Shanon Moore, Orlando Jordan, Earl Hebner, and JB. Don West and JB provide pretty funny commentary as people come in and out.

This was a really great edition of TNA Today, probably the best one I’ve seen in a couple of weeks.
