Impact Opener:

Mr. Anderson is in the ring with a chair and asks Jeff Hardy to come out and join him. Anderson says he hit him with a chair, and it was an accident. He tells Hardy if it was on purpose, he would tell everyone about and brag about it, because he’s an asshole. Anderson says he has a solution, and he will bring the chair to the ring for their match tonight, and if he uses it, Hardy will know he has a problem with Anderson. He says if Hardy uses it on him, he might have it coming, but he will know that Anderson has a problem with him.

Kazarian vs AJ Styles

AJ wastes no time in getting in the ring and he kicks Kazarian in the stomach. Kazarian floats over AJ and hits several armdrag takeovers before he punches away at AJ in the corner. Kazarian runs at AJ and hits a monkey flip then hits a running dropkick for a two count. Kazarian runs the ropes and gets dropkicked by AJ, then AJ hits a swinging neckbreaker off the ropes. He picks up Kazarian and delivers a backbreaker and then puts him in a rear chinlock. Next we get a nice exchange here as AJ tries for a Styles Clash, Kazarian reverses into a spike piledriver attempt, AJ goes for the Styles Clash again, but gets Kazarian into a fireman’s carry and hits a backbreacker instead. AJ goes for a suplex but Kazarian floats over and knocks AJ down then hits a springboard legdrop. Kaz takes AJ to the top rope and goes for the Wave of the Future, but AJ knocks him down and springboards off the ropes and hits the Pele kick. Kazarian gets back up and floats over AJ onto the apron and comes down and snaps AJ’s head on the ropes. Both men are down on the ground and they get counted out when they try to get back in the ring, and they continue to fight each other after the bell. Ric Flair comes down and tells them to break it up and asks if they really want to join him. He says the fans won’t get in their way, and he says both Kazarian and AJ are special. Flair tells them they have a match together at Victory Road, but he won’t tell them who it’s against, so they better get it together and win.

Result – Double Countout
