WWE Raw Opener:
Triple Threat Match (Winner becomes #1 Contender for WWE Title at Summerslam)
Randy Orton vs Chris Jericho vs Edge
Orton takes down Jericho and Edge, but they get up quickly and beat on him in the corner. Orton comes back and punches Jericho, then knocks Edge out of the ring, but Edge comes back up and drops Orton throat first on the ropes. They double team Orton now and try a backbody drop but Orton holds on and double DDT’s them for a near fall. Orton hits a high knee drop on Edge then works on his neck and shoulder in the corner. Orton whips him into the opposite corner and sets up an RKO, but Jericho hits him with a Codebreaker instead. Jericho goes for the pin and almost gets it, but Edge breaks up the pin as we go to the first commercial break.
When we get back, Jericho is in control of Edge outside, but gets knocked off the apron by Orton. Orton picks both of them up and tries the ropes DDT, but Edge fights out and Orton hits it on Jericho for a two count. Orton clotheslines Jericho then follows it with a powerslam but only gets a two count, and then he holds Jericho on the apron for another DDT. Orton turns around and clotheslines Edge then kicks him in the ribs and goes back to Jericho, who reserves the DDT attempt into the Walls of Jericho. Jericho pulls him back to the middle so Orton can’t grab the ropes, and Edge runs in and hits the Edgecution for a near fall then sets up for the spear on Jericho. Jericho moves out of the way and counters into the Walls of Jericho, but Edge is able to get to the ropes.
Edge clotheslines Jericho out of the ring and almost walks into an RKO, but he shoves Orton away and hits a reverse facebuster for a two count. Edge tries to spear Orton, but Jericho shoulderblocks him out of the way and then all three trade clotheslines and pin attempts. Orton tries to RKO Jericho, but Jericho counters, tries to hit a lionsault and misses, and Orton starts pounding the mat. He jumps up and hits consecutive RKO’s on Jericho, then Edge, and pins Edge to get the win.
