TNA Wants a Former WWE Champ, MITB Win is Major For Kane

The Wrestling Observer is reporting that TNA has been wanting to bring former WWE Champion John "Bradshaw" Layfield into the company for quite sometime. Layfield has met with TNA President Dixie Carter in the past and the two reportedly get along well. It’s being said, however, that sources close to JBL do NOT expect him to end up in TNA, as he previously declined an offer to join the company when they were aggressively pursuing talent to load up their roster for the switch to Monday nights.

Several readers have sent in word that with his Money in the Bank win last night, Kane has become only the second superstar in WWE history, the first being Big Show, to win The WWE Title, The World Title and The ECW Title. Technically, Kane is the FIRST superstar to ever do it in WWE, as Big Show won his World Title in WCW. So depending on how you view the World Title, which originally was a WCW Title, Kane is either the second person to win all three titles in or out of WWE, and the first and ONLY person to do so while the belts have been defended in WWE.
