Ross Report: Nexus, Bret Hart/SSlam, Orton & Miz, More

The following are highlights from the latest “Ross Report,” from WWE Hall Of Famer Jim Ross:

What are Nexus’ motives? Beats the heck out of me, but I’m interested to know what the Nexus 7 has up there sleeve. I’m also curious to know if this game plan is a Nexus creation or if someone else is the puppeteer, so to speak. I fully expect Nexus to win at SummerSlam vs. the dysfunctional Raw team that makes the Osbournes, Ozzie and SHARON!, seem Cleaver-like. (The Raw 7 would be well served to retain the services of the Fink as their 3rd base coach.)

Can Bret Hart use his mentoring skills to help solidify the Raw 7 or 6 or 5 before SummerSlam? That question might well be answered next Monday night when Hitman and CeNation team to face Jericho and Edge who have ‘apparently’ let bygones be bygones. All I know is that this big time main event next Monday night has a clearly, Canadian flavor. Should Cena beware? Eh?

Are there two, brighter, young stars in WWE than Randy Orton and The Miz? Not for my beloved Chipotle Ketchup. They are essentially joined at the hip as long as Miz still has the uncashed Money in the Bank briefcase and Orton is chasing Sheamus for the WWE Title. Orton may appear to be anti-social to some, but so did Steve Austin back in the day. WWE isn’t a social networking platform, but it’s about winning and losing and making big money, which is obviously the objective of both Orton and Miz, whose best years are ahead of them. I expect both these two men to be in the main event mix at WrestleMania 27 in Atlanta next year. Mark that one down.
