WWE Now Refers To Raw Celebrity Hosts As “Guest Stars”

Matt Boone

In a small, basically unimportant change, the official WWE company website, WWE.com, now lists Raw celebrity guest hosts as “guest stars.”

The now former guest-host article, which is updated periodically with the latest additions, now states the following:

“From comedians to politicians to musical performers to professional athletes, Monday Night Raw’s guest stars are some of past and present’s finest entertainers. The WWE Universe, therefore, can expect this trend to continue as more and more of the most popular celebrities are hopping aboard to serve as Raw special guest stars.”

I guess you can chalk “guest stars” up on the list that contains wrestlers-to-entertainers, house shows-to-live events, among other custom WWE word/phrase preferences.
