Gabe Sapolsky Reveals Behind The Scenes DGUSA Details

In an exclusive blog written for The Heyman Hustle, Dragon Gate USA’s Gabe Sapolsky has revealed details behind the final preparations being made for this weekend’s big "Enter The Dragon" event. Below is a blog highlight:

"To give you an idea of what a show week looks like, in the last 48 hours I’ve written up the details of the show; sent our announcers commentary notes; mailed everyone on the card; promoted non-stop through any online vehicle possible; wrote press releases; set up the date for the next EVOLVE card, including booking talent for it; exchanged emails with our production staff; talked on the phone with a variety of people that all need to be on the same page for the show to be a success; and texted like crazy. Oh yeah, there have been a great deal of other things I have forgotten to list.

I am really excited about this weekend. While you can read that as hype coming from a promoter, I really believe that this weekend is actually a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for fans in the New Jersey and New York City areas. The weekend kicks off early, even before the EVOLVE show, but in the same venue, as The Wrestling Reunion Convention will take place at the Rahway Rec Center from 9am-3pm. Then "EVOLVE 5: Danielson vs. Sawa" will take place from 4pm until about 6-6:30pm. Nick was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, and lived there until the age of 18, when he decided to pack his flack jacket and move to New York City.

Nick attended New York University and graduated in 2001 with a degree in Drama.

Nick first entered the internet wrestling community back in 2004 when he became the co-host of The Voice of Wrestling Radio Show. From there, Nick made the transition from radio personality to editor when he began working with WrestleZone in 2008.

Nick is a member of two Off-Broadway theatre companies, Another Urban Riff, and the Drama Desk Award winning Godlight Theatre Company. Nick has appeared in over a dozen Off-Broadway plays since he moved to New York City, and has shot several short and feature length films. In 2010, he completed principle photography on a film titled "How to Score Your Life," which also features TNA Knockout ODB.

Inspiration in his life has come from many people including his family, Woody Allen, Steven Spielberg, Jack Nicholson, The Beatles, and of course, Lassie.
