WWE RAW Results (11/25) – RAW Goes Old School!

Otunga is in the back with Nexus, and says he stepped up last week, so someone else should step up and deal with R-Truth. He says as the leader, then Barrett interrupts and asks what he said. Otunga said he meant "a leader" and Barrett tells him he will face Truth tonight, and Otunga says good, because they have had beef since NXT. A GM email interrupts and it says Otunga won’t face Truth because he will be in a different match, but Truth will face Barrett tonight, and he can prove himself to be championship material, no matter who the referee is.

Husky says they have Wade’s back, but Barrett says he won’t need them because he will prove he can win without them. Cena is in the locker room and Barrett asks him what he wants. Cena says he could maybe deserve a thank you for dealing with Miz, but Barrett says no. He tells Nexus to follow Cena to the ring in case Orton tries anything, but Cena stops them. He says if Orton has a problem, he knows where to find him, and he can come get some.

Miz says Cena thinks he is a step ahead of him, and if he takes Miz out he can still get out of Nexus on Sunday. He has a suprise for him, and he can change the match because the GM never agreed to it. He says if the GM doesn’t object, he is subbing in Alex Riley, and Cole says there are no emails, so the match begins.

John Cena vs Alex Riley

Cena takes Riley down then they face off and Cena runs at Riley but eats an elbow. Riley distracts the ref and Miz knocks Cena down, then Riley kicks Cena in the corner. (Riley hits a lifting/slam type move I couldn’t see because they are focused on the Miz and completely miss it) Cena starts his comeback and hits a sitout sideslam, flying forearm, Five Knuckle Shufle, AA in succession, and locks in the STF to make Riley tap. (Very unexciting, typical Cena finish.)

Orton runs in and attacks Miz, then Nexus attacks, only to have Orton and Cena start brawling before refs and officials break them up. The GM email interrupts and it says Cena and Orton have issues they need to work out, and they will be guests on Piper’s Pit.

Winner – John Cena
