Chad Martin sent along the following: Last night during the Morrison/Rhodes match CM Punk made reference to his “King of the Ring” win in a tournament in Rio de Janeiro. Cole said he didn’t have his name listed and stated that is where Pat Patterson won the Intercontinental championship. Punk was alluding to the fact that Patterson won the IC title in a tournament that never really happened like his “KOTR win.”
James Gautreaux sent along the following: I live in Lafayette, LA. Smackdown is advertising on television Big Show, Rey Mysterio and Edge in a six-man tag match against Kane, Albert Del Rio and Jack Swagger as the main event but on the ticketmaster site it says Kane vs Edge for the title as the main event. Just passing it on.
