Live 3/21 Raw Fan Report: Off-Air Notes, Superstars Results

Thanks to Wes Fulmer for sending in the following:

Hi my name is Wes. I attended last nights Monday Night Raw at the brand new Console Energy Center and I must say it was electric. It looked to be close to a sellout with only a few empty seats. Before they taped Superstar’s, R-Truth defeated Zach Ryder. The crowd was really alive for this match. The first match for Superstars was Yoshi Tatsu and The Great Khali defeating the Uso Brothers. Nothing much to comment on this match, just the usual Khali demolishing two jobbers. The second match for Superstars saw Daniel Bryan and Gail Kim defeating Tyson Kidd and Melina. It was a okay match, Bryan did botch a spot though, I’m not sure if they’ll edit it out or not.

I knew as soon as Justin Roberts announced Jim Ross was here that Michael Cole was going to come out dress up as him, very predictable. Tons of heat Mixed reaction for Triple H but more cheers than boos. It’s sad what’s happening to DiBiase but hey, he was on TV this week. Sheamus vs Bourne was over way to quick if you ask me but It looks like they’re trying to make Sheamus look unstoppable, again. The crowd was asleep for the diva’s match until Michael Cole started talking. I did hear some boring chants during the match. Justin Gabriel and Heath Slater vs Santino Marella and Vladimir Kozlov was not as boring as the divas match but was close. Nice save by The Big Show and Kane after the Corre were beating down Kozlov and Marella.

For the first segment with Cena, anyone who wasn’t wearing a Cena shirt had to have been booing him, all you could hear were Cena Sucks chants. Even a kid sitting near me with a Rock shirt and hat on was booing Cena. Cole got massive heat in his segment with the family photos of Jerry Lawler. During the commercial break, after the General Manager changed the Dolph Ziggler vs John Morrison match into an intergender tag match, Vickie got on the mic saying she was still sore from her match last week, she was tired, and her elbow was still hurting. She ended by saying she want’s to speak to the General Manager face to face to tell him/her how she feels.

After Orton’s entrance during the commercial break he said that he noticed that were replaying all the punts to the heads of the New Nexus members and asked that they replay it again for his own personal enjoyment. The Miz segment was good. Some cheers for The Miz but mostly boos. Onto when John Cena interrupted The Miz. Cena can change the crowd unlike anyone else. When he came out and starting attacking The Miz, all the boos I was talking about before changed into cheers. After Raw went off the air, Cena and Triple H defeated Sheamus and CM Punk after they hit their finishers at the same time. All in all in was a great show. Pittsburgh is always loud whenever the WWE comes here.
