WWE House Show Results (3/27): Indianapolis, Indiana

WWE Raw live event (Indianapolis, Ind.)

Report by Bobby Long and ProWrestling.net

The show started with The Miz interrupting Justin Roberts. He came to the ring and talked trash about the Colts and the Pacers. He said he didn’t want to wait until the main event to defend his title because that’s the kind of champion he is. He challenged Randy Orton to come to the ring and waited for his music. Randy didn’t come and Miz said it was because he was afraid “Cuz I’m the miz and I’m awesome.” Cue Ortons music.

1. Randy Orton beat C.M. Punk by DQ. They wrestled for a couple minutes until C. M. Punk came to the ring and beat down Orton. The anonymous general manager chimed in on Justin Roberts’ cell phone and made the main event Miz and Punk vs. Orton and Cena.

2. Evan Bourne, Vladimir Kozlov, and Santino Marella (w/Tamina) defeated Tyson Kidd and The Uso Brothers. Bourne is almost as funny as Santino. Tyson told Santino to shut up and Bourne said, “Don’t tell him to shut up he’s hilarious,” which got a laugh from the crowd. The finish saw Santino hit The Cobra on Jimmy Uso then Bourne hit Airbourne for the win.

3. Great Khali beat Zack Ryder. Ryder was out next. He told the crowd he didn’t get the reaction he deserved and that made him angry. So angry he made a challenge to anyone in the back. The Great Khali came out and chopped him in the head for the win.

4. Sin Cara defeated Primo. Next out was Primo and much to my surprise he was facing Sin Cara. They both went back and forth with some pretty awesome offense. I think I was more impressed with Primo than with Sin Cara but they were both really good. Sin Cara won with a Tornado DDT. Match of the night.

5. John Morrison defeated Dolph Ziggler. No Vickie unfortunately… I think it would be cool to see her live. He was facing john Morrison. The girl in front of me yelled something at Dolph while he was getting in the ring and he stopped and stared at her. He got in the ring and then got right back out and started yelling at her. He did it four more times before finally telling her to shut her mouth because she was getting in his head. He got in the ring and they started the match. Morrison got the upper hand quickly and dolph slid out of the ring got right in the girls face and said, “Look how bad you screwed me up, I used to be good at this and now he’s beating me up, get out of my head!” Hilarious. Morrison won with starship pain in a great match.

R-Truth came to the ring and asked four fans to get in the ring for a chance to go backstage. They had a dance off and the crowd got to decide the winner. The whole crowd chanted for all four of them to go backstage, but Truth said there could only be one winner. The crowd picked the little boy and the other three got a goodie bag.

There was a brief intermission.

6. Eve and Natalya defeated Melina and Alicia Fox. Natalya worked the whole match and then tagged in Eve, who hit like two moves and got the pin. Not a great match.

7. Sheamus defeated Daniel Bryan to retain the United States Title. Bryan came out with Gail Kim. This match was really good with Sheamus winning with the celtic cross.

8. John Cena and Randy Orton defeated C.M. Punk and The Miz (w/Alex Riley). Punk took the mic and was met with a shower of boos to which he responded “I can beat all of you up.” Funny. He said he was going to beat Randall up. Miz was going to beat Cena up. And Reilly was going to beat the Mayor of Indianapolis up. Also funny.

Punk then said not only was he a better fighter than everyone but he was also a better dancer. He said Alex Reilly was a better dancer too. The music played and Reilly, Punk, and Miz all did this ridiculous dance routine that was hilarious to watch. Orton and Cena came out and the match got started. Miz went for the People’s Elbow but missed. Orton and Cena won when both of them hit their finishers on Miz and Punk and then pinned them. They walked around the ring and shook hands with fans to end the show.

This was an incredible show to see live and I had a blast. My cousin (who is not a wrestling fan) became a wrestling fan at this show.

Biggest Pops: Cena, Orton, R-Truth

Most Heat: Punk, Miz, Sheamus
