Adam Cole still stands alone at the top of the NXT mountain and he wants fans to know that a demon is not going to knock him off that high top.
WWE.com caught up with the undisputed leader of The Undisputed Era to get his thoughts on facing Finn Balor next week on NXT. Finn won his headline triple threat against Keith Lee and Tommaso Ciampa last night on the program to earn the right as number one contender for the NXT Title. Cole was asked as to what he thought about the outcome and how he feels after knowing he’ll be facing The Demon King in seven short days. Cole knows that Finn is no fair-weather fighter, but wants to make sure that folks know who the NXT Champion exactly is.
“Finn Balor is in way over his head. I’m on another level from Finn Balor. Finn Balor’s very, very talented. He’s very good – he’s not Adam Cole. He’s not the NXT Champion and he never will be as long as this Championship is over my shoulder, so how do I feel? Excited. Thrilled to once again prove I am what I say I am and that is the best to ever do this. And that’s undisputed.”
