After shockingly returning at Money in the Bank, Brock Lesnar started the show on Monday Night RAW. Paul Heyman talked up his client. Heyman addressed the conspiracy theories surrounding Lesnar’s return and shot them down. He discussed Seth Rollins’ Universal Championship reign before the champion himself came to the ring.
Rollins said he’s trying to be a champion who inspires people and he’s sure he can beat Lesnar again. He dared Lesnar to cash in his contract on RAW but Heyman said this is Lesnar’s game of anticipation; Rollins will gave to wait until Lesnar feels like cashing in. Lesnar and Rollins started shoving each other but Heyman deescalated the conflict. Heyman reminded everyone that Lesnar could also cash in on Kofi Kingston, who came to the ring and said he wants to be remembered as one of the best WWE Champions of all time. He also dared Lesnar to cash in the contract on him. Heyman says he has inside word that the two champions aren’t done for the evening so Lesnar isn’t going anywhere.
