Braun Strowman lost his opportunity at Brock Lesnar’s Universal Championship earlier tonight, which means there is a new match at the Royal Rumble. Vince McMahon came out to address the controversial removal of Strowman. However, he was interrupted by none other than John Cena.

“You’re going to tell someone to step up, so I’ll save you the time and the trouble,” opened Cena. He explained that after Austin and Rock left WWE, he was there to take over the WWE. “I’m saying this because stepping up is making this your life and loving every second of it. Give me a chance, Vince. I will not let you down.” Cena then vowed to beat Lesnar and become the 17-time WWE World Champion. “I have something no other WWE Superstar has: ruthless aggression!” remarked the veteran.

Cena was then interrupted by none other than Drew McIntyre. The Scottish superstar went straight to Vince McMahon’s face and told him that “this is what ruthless aggression looks like” and said that Cena’s “time is up and my time is now.” McIntyre continued to tell Cena to leave.

Things got further complicated when Baron Corbin came out. He threatened to sue the company due to his life being in danger due to Braun Strowman earlier in the evening. Former Universal Champion Finn Balor then came out to state that he never lost the title. McMahon said that while he respects Balor, he doesn’t think he has what it takes to defeat “all the beef”  that was in the ring right now. Balor said he knows McMahon won’t believe what he says, so he’ll show him and proceeded to attack Corbin. During the ruckus, McIntyre took out Cena with a Claymore Kick.

“I like this” said McMahon. “Every single one of these men want it badly. Let’s have a fatal four-way match tonight!”
