IMPACT Wrestling World Championship Johnny Impact (c) vs. Brian Cage
Brian Cage ultimately had the power advantage the announcers played up Johnny having to come from behind due to being smaller in stature and because the crowd is seemingly more into Cage than they are him.
The match continued on with both guys doing their best and some impressive moves, specifically on behalf of Brian. Brian Cage hit moves that you would normally see done by guys like Will Ospreay and The Young Bucks.
Late in the match, Johnny hit starship pain for only a count of two. Brian would then hit his finishing move but Johnny’s castmates from Survivor had the referee distracted due to getting into an altercation with Brian a little beforehand.

Brian would try to deadlift Johnny for a suplex from the apron but was ultimately countered and even though it was a little sloppy Johnny would roll Brian up for a three count.

After the match, the people begin boring because they didn’t like how the finish came across and then Johnny would pose in the ring with his wife, Taya, who won the Knockouts Championship earlier and controversial fashion. The people are booing and right as you think the show is going off the air with the two Champions seemingly in the middle of a heel turn, out from the back comes Killer Kross. Kross would lay waste to Johnny and then powerbomb Taya Valkyrie into the people to send the show off the air into IMPACT Wrestling’s next Journey on The Pursuit Channel and Twitch.

A lot to unpack there. All in all, it was a really good show. IMPACT is consistent with putting on good pay-per-views.
