Jamal Khashoggi, a Saudi journalist who has been critical of the Saudi regime, has gone missing for over a week and is believed by Turkish officials to have been killed while he was at the consulate. A U.S. official says that the United States has intercepts of Saudi officials discussing the matter of luring Khashoggi into the consulate. Khashoggi is a columnist for the Washington Post and the US official has no solid evidence that the journalist is alive or dead.
Wade Keller, editor of the Pro Wrestling Torch, made note that one of the congressmen to condemn any relationship with Saudi Arabia if the allegations are true is Senator Chris Murphy of Connecticut, which happens to be WWE’s home state, and proposes that this may end up troublesome for WWE’s event deal with Saudi Arabia.
Senator Chris Murphy of CT (home of WWE HQs) says if the Turkish allegation of murder is true, “it should represent a fundamental break in our relationship with Saudi Arabia.” This could end up being troublesome for WWE's event deal with Saudi Arabia. https://t.co/nkUKoZDqMs

If this is true – that the Saudis lured a U.S. resident into their consulate and murdered him – it should represent a fundamental break in our relationship with Saudi Arabia. https://t.co/hgCchEZRtJ
