Johnny Gargano recently sat down with Alex McCarthy of GiveMeSport to talk about his matches receiving various ratings from critics online. Below was what his response was regarding what he thinks about these critics and their ratings:
I take great pride in my work and to me if the fans enjoy it and are having a good time and making noise, that is all that matters to me. Trust me I am a wrestling historian so getting 5 stars and things like that is cool. People care about that and its cool to see. At the end of the day I think its all subjective what Dave Meltzer gives 5 stars some people give 2 stars and its all personal preference. That is the beautiful thing about wrestling. It’s all an art form. I love 2K19 and Madden and some people may not like that. It’s just all personal preference but I take pride in it but the ultimate thing is if people enjoy it.
