Living The Gimmick: A Review of ESPN’s ’30 for 30: Nature Boy’

Karpf let viewers know what some of his oldest fans already knew, his defying death is only an underlying testament to how great Ric Flair’s life and career have been. Outside of facing death more than a few times, he faced some of the unavoidable losses that come in life most notably the passing of his son, Reid. When Karpf asked how he got over it, Flair answers; ” I never have.”

But a man that defines the pro wrestling industry as it is known today still finds himself in the ring with his daughter, Charlotte who helps close this film on a high note as living vicariously through her keeps him in the business and somehow, makes for the best way to keep the Flair name in professional wrestling. Even if fans have seen The Ultimate Ric Flair Collection the man is still “stylin and profilin'” and every wrestling fan owes it to themselves to watch it.
