Isenberg Reacts: WWE Raw “Bray and Brock is Best For Business”

Roman Reigns vs. Rusev w/ Chris Jericho as Special Referee

wwe raw

Rusev uses an outside distraction from The League of Nations to hit Roman Reigns from behind. With Chris Jericho as the referee, he is in charge of keeping things in tact. Rusev hits a side suplex and then misses a flying head butt. Roman hits a few punches and then a big kick. He tries a Samoan Drop but has to connect with a swinging neckbreaker. Rusev hits a spinning heel kick and takes over heading into a break.

Rusev controls Reigns back from break and Reigns struggles to get to his feet for any consistent offense. Reigns hits an elbow and a few clotheslines before a big boot. Multiple corner clotheslines in the corner and the champion is in control. Rusev breaks free and hits a kick to his head for two. Reigns grabs Rusev from the top and hits a sit-down powerbomb. Del Rio causes an interference and Sheamus throws him into the barricade. Jericho gets in Sheamus’ face and kicks out Sheamus from ringside. He kicks out Barrett and then does a cartwheel to kick him out. Del Rio now argues with him and Del Rio gets kicked out as well. Reigns hits a Superman Punch and a Spear for the win.

Alright, I mean it was not terrible because the crowd loved Jericho getting drunk with power. The match was extremely predictable and generic, but not that bad. Both guys work well together, but I wonder why Chris Jericho could not have attacked Roman Reigns. Isn’t he in the Royal Rumble match on Sunday? This could have been the start to a Chris Jericho heel turn. Maybe the highlight reel provides something unique later in the show.

Brie Bella vs. Natalya

The Total Divas crossover is in full force with a clip of Paige and Alicia Fox angry. Brie has Alicia and Paige has Natalya’s back tonight. Nattie hits a nice dropkick, but gets pushed to the bottom rope. She hits a running knee and then applies a sleeper hold. Brie hits a few kicks and Natalya gets her to tap out.

A quick and very weak match. The match was literally 2 minutes and with both of these women, it could and should have been much longer. If you are going to cross promote, make it worth watching. It was good to see Paige back. Is she a face again? Who knows.
