Recently, as a cost cutting measure, WWE PPVs began using a variation of the same sets they use on TV, Leaving only Wrestlemania as the only event to have a unique set every year. With SummerSlam now evolving into a four hour event, complete with NXT Takeover, and various panels, do you see WWE putting down money for a special set? Are the days of PPV sets over?

Well since the WWE is trying to increase the popularity of SS lately I wouldn’t be surprised if they tried to make the set slightly more special, after all SS is the Wrestlemania of the summer. I don’t think much will be done though as part of the spectacle that is Mania is the set, something they save for once a years.

Yes, the days of the PPV set are over! WWE doesn’t want to dish out more money for 12+ different sets a year, and frankly I don’t blame them. I don’t really have a problem with that because I am (and so many other people are) used to the sets they use twice a week. Don’t forget the hours of physical labor the WWE production crew has to work just to get the PPV sets together…it’s just not worth it.

Being in the WWE Hall of Fame is one of the biggest accomplishments a superstar reaches for in their career and some people like myself feel like there is a certain criteria to be selected into the Hall, so my question for you is do you think there is a criteria to be a Hall of Famer and if so what is it? I personally think one has to win the WWE title at least once or twice and have it for 100+ days, have at least 1 secondary title reign and must have won the Royal Rumble, KOTR or Money in the Bank. Take for example Sheamus, He’s a 2x WWE champ (soon to be 3 depending on when he cashes in), 1x WHC champ, 2x US champ, Royal Rumble, KOTR and MITB winner that to me is a solid resume for Hall of Fame induction but I would love to see your opinion on it.

Going into the WWE Hall Of Fame is at the sole discretion of WWE Creative and Vince McMahon. There is no certain criteria for the WWE to follow. With that said, you are correct to assume that a Superstar needs to be a credible Champion for some time. Although, that could also go against the system – take The Miz, he has been a WWE Champion in the past and has main evented Wrestlemania, but does he deserve to be in the Hall of Fame? Most people think not. There are many things that should factor into the decision but don’t because, again, it is at the sole discretion of the WWE. It would be cool if they had an official committee but then Vince would not be able to call the shots, so that is pretty much out of question.

I’ve been questioning this for a while now, should WWE break up the WWE World Heavyweight Title and bring back the World Heavyweight title so they can give it to guys like Bray Wyatt, Rusev, Kevin Owens and Cesaro? You know, they can give it to the Mid Carder-Main Event guys/the guys they don’t feel would be good at holding the WWE title, just so they can win something in their career. Whats your take on this?

Think back a bit and you’ll remember how badly they booked the WHC. At this point they don’t need to bring it back but one thing they certainly have to do is elevate the IC and US Championship. If they do that then there will be no need for the WHC. You also have to remember that you don’t necessarily need a title in a feud, and I think the WWE overlooks that a lot of times. Guys have the talent to elevate themselves without a title and it’s time for the WWE to take notice.
