STEP UP: Bray Wyatt
Bray Wyatt seems to be the only guy that continues to keep himself relevant despite being nowhere near the title picture, and generally uninvolved with the top dogs int he company. Yet another reason why I consider him to be the second coming of the Undertaker. Think on that for a minute, and you’ll probably agree.
And speaking of the Deadman, the program between the two kicked off this week on Raw!
Wait, what…?
“Oh how they used to fear you. And look what you gone and did. You let all that fear turn into love and admiration. I AM THE NEW FACE OF FEAR!”
WWE is setting up for Bray Wyatt vs. The Undertaker at WrestleMania. One of the reasons I believe creative continues to hold back Randy Orton is that “The Viper” can be easily switched into this program if ‘Taker feels he can’t wrestle in March. There’s truth enough to Orton being the former face of fear, and trading it out for “love and admiration”, given his babyface turn in late 2014.
We should have a clearer picture of where this is headed by Fast Lane, but regardless, Bray takes a big step up this week for continuing to be relevant despite a physical rival, and for having a fantastic match with Dolph Ziggler on Raw.
