A Prelude to the Intercontinental Championship Match

smackdown reaction Smackdown gives us a really fun and entertaining match between Ziggler and Cesaro. Cesaro takes the early advantage by slowing the pace with some body slams and some headlocks. Dolph Ziggler fights back and hits some elbows.

Cesaro catches him in the air and Ziggler rolls through for a two count. Ziggler pulls a great reversal and locks in the sleeper hold. Cesaro throws him into the corner and breaks the hold. Cesaro hits a great suplex and then tries for the Cesaro Swing.

Dolph counters and ducks the Uppercut. Ziggler hits the ZigZag for the win.

Cesaro wins one on Raw and Dolph Ziggler wins the one that meant something a few nights later. I am glad that WWE decided to make their match at Hell in a Cell 2/3 Falls. It is different and gives two of your best entertainers in the ring about 20-25 minutes of ring work.

Who comes out on top? I can make a case for both. Cesaro has been on a roll, but I do think WWE realizes that Dolph Ziggler is so over and might need the title (right now) more than Cesaro. I could be wrong, like I usually am.

Six Divas Tag Team Match

Summer Rae kicks Brie Bella in the back and then kicks down Nattie in the corner. Brie hits a dropkick and Cameron pushes Naomi off the apron. Summer Rae hits a spinning heel kick and Nikki gets into the ring. Nikki grabs her sister by the hair and hits her finisher for the win.

Nikki Bella pins her sister, only two days before their match on Sunday. Think of this feud like this: They ENDED two Raw’s before SummerSlam. They are getting the second segment on the second hour of Smackdown, which is usually a throw away segment. Thank God that they are finally fighting. After that, we get 30 days of Nikki bossing her sister around. When will the pain of this feud end?

Currently, Josh Isenberg works for Major League Baseball in their Advanced Media Productions. He grew up in Pittsburgh and went to Point Park University, which is where Chair Shot Reality is filmed each week.

His life outside of his obsession with wrestling include being a savant for Seinfeld, NFL, NBA, MLB and many television shows. He also has an undying love for musicals, which includes many shows he was a part of in high school. Some of his favorite wrestling moments can be linked to such superstars as Edge, The Rock, Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels and The Great Khali.
