Title This: WWE Smackdown Reaction “The Miz is Better Than Ever”

The Miz is Better Than Ever

smackdownA six man tag team match kicks off the second hour of Smackdown. Jey Uso and Stardust work a fast pace with some chops and a super kick. The Uso’s hit a double suplex and Stardust pounds away at Jimmy. The Miz comes in the ring and kicks Jimmy in the stomach. He finally takes the sunglasses off and gets to business.

Jimmy gives him a high knee and then hits a body slam. Jey sends Miz to the outside and then hits a baseball slide. Miz gets a distraction from Goldust and hits a big boot. Sheamus gets the hot tag and clears the ring of the tag team champions. Jimmy flies and hits Mizdow on the outside. Sheamus kicks Stardust and throws him into The Miz. Sheamus gets powerslammed by Goldust. Stardust hits a neckbreaker and then gets hit with a superkick from Jey. Sheamus lines up Goldust and hits a Brogue Kick for the win.

The Miz did not do much here, but I think that this gimmick could be his best yet. He has matured from his “Awesome” line and is actually important in the WWE. We know he is attached to Hollywood, even if it is for a small movie. The Miz just looks like that arrogant guy everyone knows in their life. Damien Mizdow has grown on me and his humor outside is only helping Miz. People want to see these two guys each week and a championship around his waist could elevate The Miz and help Sandow turn on his (similar to Alex Riley). That did not have longevity, but it could for a talent like Sandow.

Big Show Tells Mark Henry To Stay Away

Big Show comes out and talks about the United States of America. Big Show talks about how he needs to beat Rusev. He brings out Mark Henry and says that he needs to stay away and let Big Show beat Rusev by himself. Henry gets slightly offended and says that he will get out of his business and let Big Show take care of his own business.

Rusev comes out and Big Show says he is going to knock his glass jaw off of his face. Lana calls him a Goodyear Blimp and compares him to being slow and blows gas. It ends with Big Show getting the last word.

I did not hate this segment, but it really did not do much for the feud. We know what we are going to get from Big Show on the microphone. Rusev and Lana continue to go through the motions until they reach a feud that will be a main event one. Rusev and Big Show will be the worst of Rusev’s pay-per-view matches. He goes to bigger opponents each month. Alas, who is the answer to stop Rusev?

A. John Cena

B. The Undertaker

C. Kurt Angle
