Title This: Impact Wrestling Reaction “Is Lashley or Joe The Better Champion?”

Gail Kim defeated Taryn Terrell to retain the Knockouts Championship

impact wrestling reactionImpact Wrestling reaction starts with this heated feud. The two Knockouts work fast with multiple pin fall attempts. Taryn hits a swinging neckbreaker and heads up top. Taryn connects with a flying clothesline. Kim catches her up top and hits forearm shots to the face. Kim hits a hurricanranna from the top rope and takes control. In a very unique move, Kim hits a neckbreaker onto the steel steps. Both women get in the ring and try to get the victory. Taryn heads up top again and hits a crossbody, but Gail rolls through and picks up the win.

This was a great match between two Knockouts that I cannot rave more about. Kim is such a pro, she enhances the talents of everyone she works with. Taryn continues to get better and I have NO idea what WWE did not see in her. I would have loved Taryn to attack her after the match, but Havok comes out and clotheslines both Knockouts.

She hits a White Noise side slam onto Terrell. Havok hits an incredible chokeslam and another one of her finishers to Kim. This is a shot of fresh breath. She looks nothing like any Knockout on the roster and looks to be an ass-kicking machine. She is strong, bigger, but still have this sexiness to her.

Ethan Carter comes out and talks about what he has done. The crowd gets on him very quickly and chants “You can’t wrestle” and ” CM Punk.” He plays to the crowd by saying that he can and he is better than him. Rhino comes out and says he wants EC3 to come fight him right now.

Rhino defeated Rockstar Spud

Rhino plays around with Spud. He throws him around the ring and hits a big body slam. Rhino stares at EC3 during the match, while allows Spud to get some chops to his back. With no effect, Rhino gets angrier and smacks Spud in the chest. Rhino throws him across the ring and then misses a Gore. Spud gets a trash can and cheers to the crowd. Rhino breaks him with a Gore for the win.

This was a good two segments during the night. Carter has great mic skills and knows how to garner heat from the crowd. Spud hangs in there longer than I thought. Spud takes the fall for his buddy and EC3 vs. Rhino is on the cards for the future. You built something bigger and “Legend Killer” status for EC3 will only evolve with the involvement of Rhino.

Magnus and Bram defeated Samuel Shaw and Gunner

Shaw hits an arm drag and tags in Gunner. Gunner works on Magnus, but he is able to tag in Bram. Gunner gets his knee up and hits him in the face. Bram then sends Gunner to different corner of the rings and Gunner ends up “hulking” up. Gunner throws Bram’s head into the top rope multiple times. Shaw tags himself in and checks on Gunner to see if he is okay. Shaw gets run over by Bram. Gunner and Bram get some hot tags after a quick break and Gunner hits a corner splash. He hits a slingshot suplex and punches Magnus to the outside. Gunner’s knee buckles and Bram clips his knee. Shaw flips out and screams that Gunner is hurt. Shaw snapped and is very protective of Gunner.

That match did not do it for me. There was something missing and I am not exactly sure what it was. There seemed to be no heat from either team, nor did the fans really invest their time into it. Sam Shaw used to be different and interesting. With his ring gear and his lack of interesting feuds, he has fallen off for me. The Brits could be a really good tag team, but they do not let Magnus showcase his personality as much as they should. Bram has overtaken him in terms of importance. Gunner still looks great and works hard every single night. He is also another guy that is better when he is paired with veterans. All of these guys need some help when trying to create a feud. They can’t carry one.
