WWE Supercard Guide: Pro Tips & Helpful Strategies to Take You From Common to Legendary

Last week I posted my review of WWE Supercard, the new mobile collectible card game that’s seen over 1.5 million downloads since release. I’ve since had a lot more time to spend with the game, and now that my Exhibition ranking has reached Ultra Rare and I’ve played over 1,000 matches (seriously, what am I doing with my life?), I thought I’d check back in with some great tips and tricks to help you play the game.

What’s Your Goal?

wwe supercardUltimately the goal of the game is to ascend the rankings of Exhibition mode, rising from a lowly Commoner, to the Hall of Fame status of a true Legend. There’s also a Card Collection if you like tracking your progress and making sure you’ve collected every character and support in the game. But all the extras – including the King of the Ring tournament – lead back to the Exhibition grind.

The early parts of the game are pretty easy. Collect cards, win matches, advance. Right around the Super Rare and additional plus-tiers, I start to see lots of people complaining that it just isn’t possible to level up. The same problem exists if you’ve put in the time and reached Ultra Rare’s second plus-tier; the experience you need gets a little harder to come back with every step up the ladder. So what can be done?

Leveling Up

Ross has hit the nail on the head here. I’ve won about 900 out of 1,000 games, and I see a ton of people who just don’t take the time to train their cards. They get lucky and draw a Rare or Super Rare from the pile, take them excitedly into combat, and are dismayed when their brand new, shiny, powerhouses get stomped out for some unfathomable reason. Well, that reason is simple – every time you train a card, your stats get better. Every card has a level cap, and you should be grinding everyone you plan on using all the way to the top.
