Title This: 2014 WWE Money in the Bank Reaction

Stardust and Goldust defeated Rybaxel

wwe money in the bankThe match was longer than I expected. Goldust and Stardust are still just a work in progress for me. I give Cody Rhodes so much credit. Whatever gimmick is sent his way, he takes it and thrives. His facial expressions and body motions in the ring are so natural and does not feel forced. As for Rybaxel, they don't seem to have much steam or importance left.

Rusev defeated Big E

Big E tried to launch himself through the ropes, but Rusev got a knee up. Rusev hits a suplex and then punches away at Big E. Big E got some offense in, but Rusev slugs away at Big E again. Big E runs through Rusev and hits a belly to belly suplex. Big E hit the spear through the ropes, which is an excellent spot for two big heavyweights. Rusev hits a kick to Big E's face and then another monstrous kick. Rusev locks in the Accolade for the win.

I really enjoyed this match for a second straight PPV. Rusev is exactly what WWE needs right now. He is a simple character that has a great mouthpiece and has not been exposed yet. The continued build of Rusev will only get better competition. Rusev overcame some adversity and finally showed some vulnerability.

Layla defeated Summer Rae

Nobody cared about this match, even though they have had more of a feud than the other ladies involved on this show. You can see the level of competition in the Divas division is weak right now. I love me some Summer and think Layla is underrated, but the level of interest is very low for the average wrestling fan. You just cannot have two Divas matches on one card.
