Title This: Impact Wrestling Reaction “Still No Contender”

impact wrestling reactionWillow defeated James Storm

Willow and Storm are a nice pairing. Both men are extremely aggressive and Storm is a guy that can get even more anger and aggression out of Hardy's persona. Willow tries to hit a steel chair onto Storm's head, but misses. Storm drinks a beer and pushes the referee. The DQ gives Willow the win. He has a broken beer bottle, but Willow hits him with an umbrella. Anderson is behind Storm, who cost Anderson the match. He hits a Mic Check on the ramp.

So, it looks like Anderson vs. Storm is in the cards. Willow is overshadowed by these two guys, which is not an issue for me. Willow continues to have intrigue, how his character continues to develop and how he gets even better. I hate the umbrella. It does not look like it will hurt anyone. Nonetheless, I see much success in this segment. It builds for new feuds, fresh feuds.

Sanada and The Wolves defeated BroMans and DJ Zema

High spots controlled this match, including Sanada tossing DJ to the outside onto his teammates. Finally, the heels take over in the ring after a comedy bit. BroMans and DJ hit a triple knee to the corner, something I have not seen before. The Wolves hit their finishers from the top rope and DJ takes the loss.

Solid intensity and exciting moves were the story of this match. I would have liked to see the heels win. They could've built two contenders for two championships. Either way, I can see TNA continuing pushing their top two tag teams and X-Division stars. I would love to see more Kenny King in that X-Division. Zema is a stud in the ring and his personality continues to entertain me. Will he ever be taken seriously?

-The Beautiful People come out to talk about the championship victory. Love says she is the greatest Knockout of all-time. Gail kim comes out and says the two of them have made a mockery of a division she help build. She tries to strip them of their dresses and Beautiful People retreat. Brittany and Madison Rayne strip the beautiful people of their dresses.

Ahh, classic WWE 1999-2003 days here. It gave the male audience what they wanted to see. Also, Gail Kim is next in line. One fo the best women wrestlers in TNA will get some time to, hopefully, build a meaningful and new feud for The Beautiful People.

Take your pick: Lay-Cool or Beautiful People? Which was better?

Eric Young Picks Up Another Win

TNA World Heavyweight Champion Eric Young successfully defends his title against Bobby Roode. He picks up a clean win against Roode with an Elbow Drop. They are building him like he should lose every single week. This is working because they are doing everything completely different than Magnus. When did Magnus ever get a clean win when defending his championship. Young helps Roode up to his feet.

One problem: Where is his feud? Where is his number one contender? Why are they not giving him a long feud and an opponent to build a lengthy feud with? Who will it be?  Many questions and I do not see many answers right now. He already cleanly defeated Roode, Magnus and Abyss. Does Aries get a chance? Does MVP insert himself? They have options, but I do not see a right option.
