Wrestlezone’s Top Ten: New WWE Network Features & Programs We Want Soon

#10 – A "Coming Soon" Feature

WWE is adding content to the WWE Network on a weekly basis. Some of it they advertise, some of it they don't. By no means am I complaining about classic episodes of ECW Hardcore TV or Monday Night Raw being uploaded. But if you go look at the library, the listing for both shows looks like Swiss cheese. Take Raw – all of 1993 is present, as is 2012 and 2013, but only a handful of episodes from random years show up otherwise.

It would be nice know when certain episodes were going to be added to the Network. If WWE.com released a list every week with all the new content being uploaded, it would both ease my curiosity and increase viewership – if only by a small amount – to those newly uploaded programs.

#9 – Shotgun Saturday Night / Heat / Velocity

Over the years WWE has had a myriad of C-Level shows to supplement their A and B level programming, Monday Night Raw and Friday (formerly Thursday) night Smackdown. From Shotgun Saturday Night, to Heat and Velocity, to the return of WWE Superstars to Main Event on Ion Television. Some of these shows acted as lead-ins to pay-per-view events, and if you include the Raw Recap shows there's about six or seven more of these suckers out there too.

You could probably throw the WWE resurrected ECW promotion into that category as well. They started as a totally separate brand, but ended up being a televised developmental facility, testing the waters for guys like CM Punk, John Morrison and The Miz while giving veterans like Chavo Guerrero and Kane room to get over while the main rosters were full.

None of these shows lasted very long in the grand scheme, stepping aside for… pretty much the same exact thing, repackaged with a new logo. While not always remarkable, some of the better episodes had matches, minor feuds and history I'd love to relive on the WWE Network.
