The Shield: One Collective Step Up

I wanted to give them a step up for every body they went through on Smackdown last week, but going up by 11 steps doesn't seem exactly fair to all the other children on the playground. For a team many thought would already be broken up by this point, The Shield are doing remarkably well for themselves. If you didn't catch Smackdown, they turned an 11-on-1 handicap match into a relatively fair fight by destroying all the heels one by one throughout the night.

On Raw Ambrose, Reigns and Rollins fought Evolution to a stand off, and got a ringing endorsement from the "Nature Boy" Ric Flair himself, live and in person. This Sunday they step into the ring, facing one of the biggest challenges of their young careers. So, one giant collective step up, to say the least.

Richards & Edwards: A Small Step Up

The Wolves defeated all three members of The BroMans at Sacrifice to win the TNA World Tag Team Championships. Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards are two of the best wrestlers on the planet today. Seeing them on national television is great, although they were given a much bigger platform on the indie scene. The Wolves haven't exactly been treated well consistently since arriving in Impact Wrestling. With the loss of Bad Influence, the tag team division is basically nonexistent. So they get a step up, but a small one because TNA can't possibly make this win as big as it needs to be.
