Eric Young Shocks Magnus

impact wrestling reaction I really wanted to say that he shocked the world, but the world is not watching this show. Eric Young cashes his opportunity tonight, instead of at the next PPV. After a solid bout, Young finally reverses Magnus and hits a Piledriver for the win. Nobody really saw this coming, did they? Young deserves a chance at the top and has worked his butt off getting there. I think it was a little rushed, but Young is a guy that is different and has been the definition of consistency. Is he an A+ player, though?

Magnus' reign as champion came with too many negatives. He rarely won clean. He did not have that breakout moment. He could not keep the fans interested to the point of really buying him as a face of a company. I want to see what is next for both men before giving a final verdict, but congrats to Eric Young for having a moment that is definitely overdue.
